Wonderful Wednesday Resumes September 8th
Are you ready for Wonderful Wednesdays? Maura Kuhlman is!! She will be cooking dinner for you beginning Wed., Sept. 8th, so make your reservations NOW!

Dress Like a Pirate 29th: Meat Loaf Program: Lighthouse Night with Dick & Joyce Craig ***** NOTHING ABOUT WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY HAS CHANGED (except for the cook) GREAT PROGRAMS? Absolutely!!! Informative speakers, entertaining evenings, family fun, etc. are already planned & GLAD will perform 2-3 times. (GLAD performers will meet at 6:15 beginning Wed., Sept. 15) DINNER TIME? Serving will begin at 5:30 (doors will open at approx. 5:15) & serving will continue until 6:00. Programs will begin at 6:30. RESERVATIONS? Still required by 5 p.m. Monday. 3 ways to make your reservation - 1. email (name, # of people, ages, phone number) 2. call 663-1515 x 111 (name, # of people, ages, phone number) 3. fill out form in bulletin (name, # of people, ages, phone number) PERMANENT LIST? Still an option - simply place an "X" in the box on the bulletin form, or mention it when you call or email. CHILD'S ENTREE? Still available IF selected when making your reservation. PRICE? Still the same!! (can you believe it?!) Adults (9 & up) $6, Kids (4-8) $4, Children (up to & including 3) FREE FREE NIGHT? Still the second Wednesday of the month & reservations are still a "must"! Rebuilding Together (Formerly: Christmas In September) Saturday, September 18, 2010
Rebuilding Together, a one-day home repair blitz assisting low income homeowners in our area, will be repairing about ten homes in Cedar Lake. This project rotates between Crown Point, Lowell, Merrillville and Cedar Lake each year.
Volunteers of all skill levels are needed. Volunteers from First United
Methodist will work together on one project. Some of the things done
previously have been window replacements, painting, wheel chair ramps
and landscaping.
